To us this is just a shirt…. a Gymboree shirt, but still just a shirt.

To this child… it is way more. When I pulled out this shirt, you would have thought it was Christmas.

“MICROPHONE!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!”

Really, that is exactly how it went.

That is still the reaction when she gets to show someone new the shirt. lol

This shirt just so happens to match her own microphone…

We then repeated the same reaction 2 weeks later with another shirt. A Cassie shirt… but still, just a shirt!

Seriously. How cool is that… my kid gets that excited about a freaking shirt.

It was nearing Tulip season… so I had been keeping my eye out for tulip outfits.

Ali and Sadi… Ali’s has a matching headband… as seen above with the Cassie shirt.

The tulips that hang down (or apples if you are my brother…. lol)

It doesn’t hurt that they also happen to be red, white and BLUE tulips. They could double as 4th of July dresses if I want them to. (I don’t… that’d bug me.)

They tried them on…

Ali decided to read… you know, just a book or two… or twenty two.

While Ali did that, Sadi actually decided to pose. Instead of hiding, or growling at me, or some other variation of “I don’t want my picture taken!”

While Sadi does something on the phone… (not internet, finally got that cancelled… somebody didn’t believe me that she was getting online until they go the bill… have ya’all met her father? Oy… I said ya’all again…)

This was still a month before any Tulips… but we were anxiously awaiting them.

Hot dog sandwiches… and sauerkraut. *gag*

Actually ate them like a sandwich for a while. lol But got over it. Just like Tacos.
